Old bleached, varnished and stained or cut boards from a builder’s merchant or DIY store. Short boards and long ones, wide and narrow boards are mounted as they come, between three, four or five cast aluminium holders and then joined mechanically into tables. Special and always unique.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER

David Amar

David Amar is a graduate of the MA design products programme at the Royal College of Art London (2010) and the recipient of the 2008–2010 Clore Foundation Scholarship. He was awarded a BA with distinction from the industrial design department at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design Jerusalem (2004). His work has received several awards and has been collected and exhibited in museums, galleries and shows around the world, among others: Tel Aviv Museum of Art, Design Museum Holon, Aram Gallery London, Spazio Rossana Orlandi Milan, Sotheby’s London, Phillips London, Fumi Gallery London, Design Miami, La Manufacture Gallery Paris, Pavilion of Art & Design in London, Bloomberg
HQ London and Salone Satellite Milan. David Amar lives and works in London.
